In-depth interviews are another method we use in qualitative research. In this technique, we conduct one-on-one interviews with your clients or prospects, either over the phone or in-person. In-depth interviews are best suited to projects that are more sensitive in nature (such as questions regarding finances, HR, or personal care products), or we may choose them if it’s logistically too difficult to gather a study sample in one place.

We work closely with your team to develop in-depth interview questions, and then we recruit and schedule the calls or in-person interviews. Typically, interviews last 30 minutes to an hour, and they allow us to cover a huge range of topics and drill into specific feedback about your product or service. By choosing in-depth interviews over traditional quantitative survey methods, you’ll be able to get far richer responses and test out concepts that you simply can’t acquire through close-ended questions.
